Campus Dining celebrates Black History Month in collaboration with Black Student Association and Vanderbilt Student Government
Vanderbilt Campus Dining is proud to celebrate Black History Month, acknowledging the significant contributions of Black members of our community, nation, and across the world. Partnering with the Black Student Association and Vanderbilt Student Government, Director of Culinary Operations Brian Cochrane, and Chef of Culinary Excellence, Aaron Dilts have curated a month-long culinary journey inspired by African American cultures.
Throughout February, we invite you to join us on this flavorful exploration, beginning at Rothschild dining hall on February 7th, where a dinner featuring curried goat, jerk chicken, Jamaican patties, and more will be served. Our celebration continues Friday, February 16th with dinner at E. Bronson Ingram dining hall, followed by a dinner at Commons dining hall on February 22nd. We will finish with a delectable lunch at Rand on February 28th. The entire Vanderbilt community is invited to enjoy these globally-inspired menus, developed through the collaborative efforts of Vanderbilt students and the Campus Dining culinary team.
