Emily Svennevik named Registered Dietitian for Vanderbilt Campus Dining
Campus Dining is pleased to announce that Emily Svennevik, MPH, RD, LDN, has been hired as the new Registered Dietitian for Vanderbilt Campus Dining. Svennevik earned an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Nutrition from the University of Tennessee, and a Master of Public Health in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Michigan, where she also completed her dietetic internship. Most recently, Svennevik served in a similar role for the Athletics department, focusing on the nutrition needs of Vanderbilt’s student-athletes.
A native of Tennessee, Emily has a passion for nutrition and serving students with unique dietary needs. In her role as Registered Dietitian for Campus Dining, Emily collaborates with chefs to assist with menu development, and helps to ensure students have access to healthy and nutritious foods on campus.
In addition, Emily is available for personal one-on-one nutrition counseling for students, and can provide assistance for students who require dietary accommodations. To schedule an appointment, please contact Emily at dietitian@vanderbilt.edu.
