Vanderbilt Campus Dining Honored at Princeton Review’s “Best Campus Food” Annual Event

Vanderbilt Campus Dining does it again! Vanderbilt’s prestigious and self-operated dining program continues to score highly among students, being ranked in 2023 as one of the “Princeton Review’s: Best Campus Food” programs in the country, along with other Universities such as UMass Amherst, Cornell, and Virginia Tech.

In early February, Chef Brian Cochrane and Chef Douglas Best were invited to represent our culinary team at UMass Amherst’s x Princeton Review’s annual “Best Campus Food” event. Each University in attendance prepared a sample menu of favorite dishes served on campus.

Chef Brian and Chef Doug served up delicious flavors from Rothschild’s Swaadisht menu including: chicken tikka masala, vegetable biryani, masoor daal, kachumber salad, and a Hello Dolly dessert bar.

In addition to the tasty sampling menu, Chef Brian and Chef Doug gave a presentation on the core values of our program: compassion, innovation, accountability, belonging, and fun. They detailed how those values influence the relationships built within our teams, the menus we design, and the ways we interact with students. By embodying these core values, Vanderbilt Campus will continue to strive to be one of the top programs in the country.
