Mid-Semester update at Kissam Kitchen

In an effort to freshen up its daily lineup and expand menu offerings this semester, Vanderbilt Campus Dining is pleased to announce a revamped lineup of the daily menu at the Kitchen at Kissam.  Starting Monday, March 14, the following changes will take place:

  • Breakfast bowls will be replaced by traditional breakfast fare, featuring a rotation of eggs, bacon, and other fresh options for early risers.  Breakfast will continue to be available for walk-up service, with no pre-order required.
  • Daily walk-up lunch and dinner service will feature a rotation of Taqueria (formerly available only on the GET app), with Mexican street cuisine favorites like Carne Asada Tacos and Blackened Tempeh Nachos, and Mediterranean, featuring traditional Greek dishes like herb-roasted potatoes, and marinated lamb, beef, and vegetables.  Pre-order is not required for Taqueria and Mediterranean.
  • Replacing Taqueria as the Kissam Express lunch option is Global Flavor, showcasing a medley of South Asian flavors, including Indian-inspired curry dishes.  Global Flavor will be available exclusively for pre-order on the GET app, 7 days a week during lunch and dinner.
  • In addition, Campus Dining recently announced via Instagram an update to the Omelet bar; effective immediately, students have the option to order custom-built omelets all day, not just during breakfast hours.

The Kitchen at Kissam is conveniently located adjacent to Warren and Moore colleges, and is a great option for students on the east end of campus.  Kissam’s dining offerings are always gluten free, and its kitchen centrally produces allergen-friendly meals for students across campus.
